- Description
- Programs to improve residents’ skills in teaching and supervision of medical students commonly include interactive workshops with a mix of didactic teaching, role play, and group discussion. We have developed a series of short films, scripted and produced specifically for use in workshops for psychiatry residents. The films, dramatized scripted scenarios depicting medical students and supervising psychiatry residents, can be used to prompt discussion, to set the scene for role play, and to provide enacted examples of the One-Minute Preceptor model of supervision. The films can be downloaded or streamed and viewed on a range of devices including smartphones and tablets.
